A Civilian National Security Force – Says BHO

by Morgan Wright on November 2, 2008

Although it’s now making the front of The Drudge Report, Sunday, November 2, it’s not exactly news. Those of us who understand law enforcement raised a red flag back on July 2, when it first appeared at a speech in Colorado Springs. WorldNet Daily first covered this story HERE. The longer video is within the original story.

The ‘cut to the chase’ version is below.

I originally posted this as a topic on Cops Online in my group – The Thin Blue Line. I had also posted a similar blog entry “Terrorism and Law Enforcement – A Dangerous Mentality” talking about irresponsible comments made by BHO with respect to crime and terrorism HERE.

With less than 2 days to go, it’s amazing the tremendous naivete shown here and how little attention has been paid to these comments - comments which go to the heart and judgment of someone who wants to be the Commander In Chief. A Civilian National Security Force is not needed, nor can it be afforded. This is another example of not letting the facts get in the way of lofty rhetoric.

Civilians like to be included?
I do not have all the answers nor want any of the “politics” that come with. However lets be honest, sometimes its the civilian calling 911 to report a situation.
Do we not engage in a clear cut and dry scenario?
Child abduction at Walmart? Should the civilian wait on the phone or take action?
what about the guy next to me trying to light his shoe on fire?
Please sir wait for the flight attendant to tell you to stop or the undercover air marshall I do not even know about if he is even there?
No one wants to be a witness, or get involved you guys get paid…
but there are times when seconds count…and having a civilian is better than nothing at all???
